An then there's telling my mother . . .
As I stated earlier, after we left the hospital, Denise was going down to tell my mother. The last time I told her, her reponse was "OMG and you hosted Easter dinner for 30 people when you knew you had cancer!" Yep it always seems to be about the food with my mother!
This time the response was just as priceless. Denise told her and her response: "Why couldn't it be you?" Say what, Marilyn?!? She did follow it with, "Why couldn't it be me ?"but then again she added "or even Kelle!" (my other sister). I guess she's an equal opportunity sacrificer (is that a word?) LOL! Gotta love my mother for the comic relief!
