Saying Goodbye to my Tata Party (aka The "Titty Wake")

Updated: May 8

I've decided to have a good bye party for my Ta Ta the night before my surgery.  My friend Leslie dubbed it the "Titty Wake" which I think is so appropriate.  My husband asked me if I was sure I wanted to do this the night before my surgery, I didn't hesitate - I absolutely want to have my lady friends surround me with their love and support.  I didn't want to sit and wallow - I wanted to celebrate my breast.  This breast saved me - it is going to give me back my life.  I am in gratitude.  I am feeling the loving energy from everyone and I'm humbled.

I wanted a night of celebration not a night of sadness.  I'm losing a breast, I'm not losing my life.  This will be life changing, not life taking.  And I'm ready to get on with it.

So to my fellow goddesses who came to celebrate my breast, thank you, thank you, thank you for giving me a night filled with love and unconditional support.  I love you all.
